This upgrade suits drivers who want more control than the factory suspension can offer, whether for spirited road driving, regular track days or simply a better stance. Adjustable ride height lets you set the look you want, while better damping keeps the tyres in contact with the road for more grip, sharper turn-in and less body roll in fast corners.
Most drivers notice a flatter, more composed car and much sharper steering response straight away. Once you have dialled in the settings, the car feels more predictable at the limit and more settled over bumps, giving you the confidence to enjoy every drive. It also gives the car a more purposeful, planted look.
When you buy HKS HIPERMAX R Coilover Kit with Canceller Kit for Honda Civic Type R FL5, have it fitted by an experienced technician or a well-equipped home garage. Set the ride height evenly side to side, torque all mounts and links to specification, and always finish with a full wheel alignment so the car tracks straight and wears its tyres evenly.
After you buy HKS HIPERMAX R Coilover Kit with Canceller Kit for Honda Civic Type R FL5, start from the recommended baseline settings, then fine-tune ride height and damping in small steps. Lower settings sharpen response, while softer damping improves comfort on rough roads. Keep notes of each change so you can return to a setup you like.
Before you buy HKS HIPERMAX R Coilover Kit with Canceller Kit for Honda Civic Type R FL5, think about how the car is used. A daily driver benefits from comfortable settings and sensible ride height, while a track car can run firmer damping and a lower stance. Our team is happy to advise on the best configuration for your goals.
Once you buy HKS HIPERMAX R Coilover Kit with Canceller Kit for Honda Civic Type R FL5, check the dampers and mounts periodically for leaks or noise, keep the threads clean and lightly lubricated, and re-check the alignment after any adjustment or hard impact. Regular care keeps the suspension feeling precise for years.
